Punch a hole in a mason jar lid, and set a backflow incense cone on it. Cut another hole for air flow. I used a screwdriver, which made a perfectly sized hole. Its slightly smaller than the optimal flow diameter; this means that some of the Incense instead escapes off the top.

Mason jar protects the falling pillar from any gusts of wind, and collects all the smoke.
