Slowly but surely I am making progress on my applique quilt. I included my rotary cutter so you can get a feel for the size of the pattern. I planned it so the pattern would cover the top of a king size bed. #quilt #applique #backbasting #needleturn

Spring Break Project. We are on vacation and I wanted to bring a portable sewing project. I have back basted three layers of fabric together. I am reverse appliquing the red first and then the blue layer. I am liking the result. I am using a paper fold pattern I got off a blog a couple of years ago. I can't remember which blog.
