phew salt levels rising once i remembered a dumbass discourse. once ss drops i don’t wanna see discourse towards one sky zel that i had to fucking suffer through in the past so let’s get this out of the way:

hylia did everything and nothing wrong. different verse same as the first if you’ve been on this blog’s ride for long but: hylia is a god with a duty to protect the triforce and hyrule. she was at war. she did something that’s logical and based her decision in logic rather than emotions. she used both link and her mortal self, zelda, to finally put an end to demise and the war. her actions are morally grey at best and morally wrong at worst depending on who you’re asking. personally, i think it’s shitty what she did but whatever. at the end of the day, she’ll happily do morally bad actions if it achieves a good enough outcome. what’s one life to the many she needs to protect? using zelda as motivation for link seemed the best way to go at the time and she went with that.

zelda obviously felt fucking awful about this once she finds out, didn’t like that she used him despite knowing the reasons that justifies it, even says so herself that it doesn’t make it right and tried to redeem her past actions as hylia by sealing herself away and revealing the whole truth to link.
