For years, the World Trade Center in Pasay has housed Cosmo girls raring to get their September fix from the female magazine—an early Christmas present of sorts. Annually, Cosmopolitan Philippines is showcasing their best bets in the hunk-department: think washboard abs, rock-hard pecs, and skimpy underwear in a venue filled with screaming fans. The yearly tradition of the Cosmo Bachelor Bash continues with 69 of the hottest bachelors of different ethnicities, profession, and ages slated to make young girls hearts melt along with 10 celebrity centerfolds all expected to heat up the runway.

The theme of this year's "boyfriend buffet" is Cosmo University. From the invitation to the event set-up, the Robby Carmona-directed show was a hunk-spree that promised frat boys, sexy nerds, and jocks willing to make every girls' fantasies come to life.

  In a sexy prelude, host Menchu Antigua fascilitated a round of games participated by this year's roster of event sponsors. Male models from various brands like Kojie San, Century Tuna, and CK Eyewear roused the crowd with cheers especially with the participation of Cosmo girls from the audience.

  As soon as the lights dimmed and the wooden stage thumped with footsteps, the whole of the event venue exploded with happy cheers and screams proving this to be an anticipated bash for girls and beckies alike.

A feast of oiled male models clad in easy-to-strip shirts and denim pants paraded onstage to the delight of the audiences. JC Tiuseco, Marc McMahon, and football superstar and Anton Del Rosario walked onstage before the entry of hunky professors and former Cosmo centerfolds Hideo Muraoka, dressed only in a buttondown shirt and boxer briefs, followed by Jon Hall and Pancho Magno. A gang brawl ensued headed by the leaders of the rebels and the nerds Aaron Villaflor and Rodjun Cruz in his top form. Joining the two were Albie Casino, Vin Abrenica, Alex Termulo, and Vince Velasco.

  The jocks came right in with the participation of locker room gods donning their skimpiest underwear. Head coach and Cosmo staple hunk Daniel Matsunaga flashed his perfect smile and swoon-worthy bod complete with a coach's jacket and a whistle to signal more hotties in tow like Carlo Romero, Kirk Vista, Paul Drake, and athletes Andrew Wolfe, Gaz Holgate, and brothers Carlo and Antonio de Murga Olaivar. Frat boys headed by Carlo Agassi then followed the show with a blindfolded-striptease that later on translated to a full-on Magic Mike-inspired dance routine. The Cosmo-fied University of the Philippines' annual Oblation Run was well-received as well with a number of supporter-clad, black masked men who ran from the audience area to the stage leaving very little to the imagination. An alumni homecoming for former Cosmo centerfolds followed suit with jogging pants on from charmer Brent Javier, Luke Jickain, Victor Basa, Jay-R Sillona and the double trouble, hardcourt heartthrobs David and Anthony Semerad.

  What was touted as the hottest girls' school night of the year culminated with the most awaited parade of the 2013 Cosmo Centerfolds. Cosmo Men Cover boys Alden Richards and Tom Rodriguez caused quite a stir. "Kakaiba yung feeling. I love Cosmo. I can't thank them enough for choosing me as one of the centerfolds. It's a big honor," shares Richards who roused the audience with a sexy number.

  Rodriguez, from the My Husband's Lover fame admits to being nervous the entire time he was onstage. "I still can't believe I got through the entire walk without fainting (laughs). This has been a great year for me and I just feel honored that I am now part of the Cosmo Centerfolds," he says. Joining them were Aljur Abrenica, Rayver Cruz, Matteo Guidicelli, JC De Vera, Dennis Trillo and models turned celebrities Sam Ajdani and Vince Ferraren.

  "It was nice knowing that they're cheering you on. In the past, I've walked as one of the models for the show and now, I am already a centerfold. It's surreal," shares Ajdani, the 6'2" Bench Filipino-Iranian model who admits to doubling his workout regimen in preparation for the show.

"Yeah, people always look at me and say, 'You're so hot' and I'm like, ‘Pfft! Whatever!’” Ferraren deadpans when asked about his centerfold stint before exploding in laughter. "It feels great and nerve-wracking knowing that a lot of eyes were on you. It's different when you're walking onstage with the other models, but when you're called by your name and it's your turn to walk onstage. It's really a different kind of high."
