My dad's trying to find the culprit and get windows to boot up normally again for 2 1/2 hours. So far with no luck.
Nothing like spending more time on the hunt why the pc randomly shuts down because changing the psu (though necessary) didn't get rid of it β₯οΈβ₯οΈβ₯οΈβ₯οΈ
*nervous giggle* soooo....i managed to get a bluescreen while hunting for the culprit and, errrrr. Windows won't boot up because it's running into an issue and then tells me how to boot up into safe mode so I can uninstall my anti-virus-program and basically every driver to test which might cause the issue. I. Uhm.
This post/answer from @katatty got me thinking about Cassandra Goth and why she's got the family aspiration in Sims 2. Aspirations are picked when kids grow up into teens so what if Bella was abducted before Cassandra was a teen and her wish for a family is not about starting one of her own (at least right now) but rather a remnant from little Cassie wishing her mother would come back and make her family whole again? Cassandra doesn't realise this until Don leaves her at the altar but after that it's blatantly obvious how silly it was of her to try and pin Don down since he's neither ready for marriage nor really the type of man Cassandra wants to spend the rest of her life with. What was she thinking, anyway? She'll have plenty of time for marriage and kids later. So she dumps Don, breaks up with Darren (not wanting to drag him along anymore, let's be honest he's her safety choice if things with Don don't work out), moves away from Pleasantview (girl really needs a change of scene) and changes her aspiration to life her best badass knowledge witch life. π

I need some casual gameplay between all the other stuff so I grabbed a ready-to-play custom neighbourhood which is completely vanilla. This is Rodeburg by @aondaneedles β₯ Though this is meant for some easy gameplay and getting a feeling for Sims 2 again (feels like forever ago) there will probably be the occasional screenshot because I canβt help myself. I completely forgot how to play sims without taking screenshots every 5 seconds lol. Anyways if you donβt want to see these feel free to block the tag rodeburg.
Just a little heads up: I'm having problems with my monitor and while I do have an old one it's not ideal and the whole thing is just bumming me out. The queue shouldn't run out until I get it fixed in one way or another. And I'd like to share the trashed up factory but if I get quite(r) apart from that, that's why.
I'm also hoping to be some sort of help for the amazing Sims 2 community hood project @build-a-hood and will at least lurk around the discord channel.
