The atmosphere is warm from then, Heechul teasing him by saying he doesn’t know what he’s in for and Zhou Mi teasing Ryeowook the same way, and only about an hour in when Zhou Mi is telling Ryeowook disconcertingly accurate accounts of Kyungsoo’s embarrassing life does Kyungsoo remember that he’s just friends with Kris and Tao and that he is not a sasaeng.

They eat dinner happily (Kyungsoo especially, the meal is better than he’s had in months, the others will be jealous to hear of how much meat he’s eaten and how much French wine he’s drunk, courtesy of Kyuhyun), Shindong and Eunhyuk arriving partway through and almost knocking the teeth out of Kyungsoo’s mouth when they simultaneously pat him on the back. The room gets noisier and noisier and Kyungsoo doesn’t even notice Donghae arrive until he has his arms around him and he can almost taste Donghae’s fried chicken dinner with his mouth moving mile-a-minute barely an inch from his asking him every question under the sun. Ryeowook shoves him off and wraps a protective arm around him, which Kyungsoo is grateful for, but the atmosphere suddenly freezes when Henry walks in, all dirty blonde hair and pure white skin and eyesmiles and utterly clueless of the way conversation has dropped to a low murmur.

He doesn’t dare breathe the same air as Zico. Pressed up against a wall, chest to chest and with Zico’s red-smeared lips a finger’s width away from his own, it’s difficult, but Kai holds his breath behind his bitten lips nonetheless.

what was their first kiss like: awkward and uncomfortable because 1) Chen doesn't know if he likes Chanyeol let alone like likes him 2) Chanyeol had to bend down really far to reach him and 3) they're going to have to work together all the time soon and is this really a good idea???
