"i think it's nice that we could have something put together for everyone here to enjoy like this. it makes everyone feel like a tighter community, if everyone is enjoying the same party." buttercup said after a few moments of standing off to the side of the dance floor. she had needed a bit of a breather, most of the night already spent dancing to every song that played. "are you having fun?"

"alright, i need to go home. i think i just saw someone get stabbed and i am not getting involved with whatever the fuck is going on around here." bea turned quickly, shaking her head. "seriously, what the fuck?"

"i knew this city could get fucking weird, but before i was only worrying about one person.." now she had a handful of her sisters here, and bea felt like she was going crazy worrying about them.. last time something happened to her family, she'd run off.. and she didn't think she could really get far around here anymore.

she wasn't sure the last time she actually paused on her trek through the maze, moving only with the purpose of finding rhysand's mate, her sister in law, hell probably the only voice of reason she was going to find right now. she was certain telling cassian or azriel would just end in all three of them breaking.. so instead, she kept walking, kept moving to avoid that nagging feeling that someone was just a few steps behind. winnie only stopped when collided with another, too exhausted to even catch herself as she stumbled away, catching sight of the familiar tattoo across the woman's hand and then she just.. collapsed. body sinking into feyre's arms as her wings sagged into the ground, tears streaming without a single coherent word to explain. "i'm sorry.." she tried to choke out past the tears, hoping feyre would understand something.

"have you tried winnowing?" maybe rhys was powerful enough to break past all of this magic, to get all of them out of here one way or another. winnie had already tried to simply fly out of the cornstalks but she could barely get to the tops of them before she was grounded. her arms crossed around herself, wings tucked tightly to her body as she felt a chill go through the air. "why is it so damn cold."

prompt 13 - monster: werewolf

win catches sight of a familiar face, eyes going wide as she rushes to emily's side. "em where-- where are the babies?" she was supposed to be watching them, but after getting yanked into the maze, she'd spent forever trying to call emily, but she couldn't get any signal.

"did-- did you see that?" winnie's eyes shot between the figure she'd thought she'd seen and the other fae standing beside her. "it-- was that a fucking ghost?" she had already had her fill of these monsters, and wanted nothing more than to think it was simply a trick of the light. just for her own sanity.
