Scraps' tail looked around the little waiting room. The child was nervous, scared even. Their arms were securely wrapped around one of Hafiz's, letting them lean into their parent for comfort as the adult made sure they didn't feel alone.
"It's ok kiddo." He spoke softly. Sure, it was a little jarring to visit Azha's clinic. It was kind of sterile, considering what it tended to. Even if there were some toys on the floor, Scraps didn't want to touch them. They didn't want to leave their papa.
"Is... scary..." The child mumbled. Their tail was watching the doors now, switching between the two.
"Yeah. But it should help kiddo!" Hafiz smiled and scooped the child up into his lap, able to hug the little green-lit drone. The tail briefly 'smiled' as it kept watching the doors. "Miss Alex is good with this stuff. And remember, she wants to help you out a lot!"
"Mmmm...." The young drone was still unsure. Little tears pricked at their eyes.
"And we can check if Spectre or Cassidy or Ai have responded to the texts yet." Hafiz looked to the phone that he'd not grabbed for a little while. A simple thing had been sent to each. Scraps was going to go in for the repair soon and the little one was nervous.
Alex was still putting things together, every so often B would peek in to check on the pair. Scraps' tail would then stare at her until she left, going back to the room or the doors.
Paws whined softly from the floor. The canine could tell the child was upset and in a way hurting. They couldn't do anything though, as they were simply trained to be a medical alert canine as opposed to anything else.
"Just a few more minutes guys." Alex was heard, her head peeking through the door. She looked to Scraps and sighed. "Poor little one is nervous as he...heck." She tried to watch her language around the little one. It was appreciated. "I'd offer a snack, but this close..."
"Yeah. No complications. I don't either. That's why it's just cuddles time." Hafiz smiled a bit, kissing Scraps on the head. He didn't get the usual giggle or attempt to push away. The child really was scared.
