Those who celebrate Lunar Festival traditionally weave the flower of compassion and other blossoms into flower crowns to wear during the holiday [Quest: Crown of Dark Blossoms, Item: Crown of Eternal Memorial].

It’s unknown if this plant also grows on the AU version of Draenor or if it can only grow in Outland-Shadowmoon Valley’s extreme environment.

Bloodlasher Seedlings, like Lurching Blossoms and Bloodpetals, are just one of Azeroth’s many species of aggressive semi-sentient flora. These particular plants, which are native to Nazmir, are favored by the blood trolls of the region since they can digest flesh. In fact, the blood trolls often feed their sacrifices to these lashers [World Quest: Down to the Roots].

Note: It’s entirely possible that the two Shimmerweed plants discussed above are actually one and the same. Even though the latter one is slated to only grow in Thunder Ridge, it’s feasible that the orcs did not know it was also cultivated a continent away by the trolls of Dun Morogh. Given the lack of substantial information on either herb, it’s difficult to say with any certainty whether or not they really are the same plant.

The plague tangle is a type of red grass that grows and thrives exclusively near the decomposing bodies of diseased wildlife infected with the plague. Because of the unique environment it grows in, plague tangles are found in abundance in the Western Plaguelands, even as druids of the Cenarion Circle work tirelessly to heal the region [Quest: Latent Disease].

Soothing Lilybuds are indigenous to southeastern Zuldazar. This common plant is edible and makes good food for growing direhorn hatchlings [Quest: Direhorn Daycare].

Wolfsbane is a special herb that grows near trees and rocks in Gilneas [Quest: In Time, All Will Be Revealed]. Judging by name alone, it’s likely that the plant has certain properties that make it harmful to both wolves and worgen but this is never explicitly stated. However, one Forsaken commander did coat his weapons in wolfsbane oil while fighting worgen forces in Gilneas, implying that it is toxic to worgen to some degree [Page: Deathstalker Commander Belmont].  

Ferocious Doomweed is endemic to Silverpine Forest and can be found anywhere in the region. Although the herb’s exact properties are unknown, it is one of few ingredients used to make a rather potent and deadly strain of blight [Quest: Agony Abounds]. Simply handing the plant can also increase one’s critical hit chance by 15% for a brief moment of time [Buff: Doomweed Haze].
