How would Dr. Mercer feel about the file that no one can remember. I think its SCP-3125
Theo arrived at Gabriel’s office at 0213, glancing down at his watch as he checked the time. He sighed softly before sliding in, uninvited.
“Gabriel—” Theo stopped short when he saw Gabriel asleep at his desk.
He smiled softly at the sight, seeing Gabriel at least a little younger in his sleep when he wasn’t stressed over files. Theo shut the door quietly behind him and stepped in. His gaze flicked down at the open file Gabriel had been working on before. His hand moved to close the file before pausing.
THE FILE EXISTS.
YOU FORGET AFTER READING.
DO NOT OPEN IT AGAIN.
Theo’s brow furrows in concern at the frantic writing. He gently picked up the file, avoiding startling Gabriel. He flipped to the next page of the file. His eyes skimmed over the contents, his expression growing more frantic the further he read, his stomach dropping.
“Jesus Christ…” he whispered under his breath, closing the file instantly.
Theo put the file down in a flash, not realizing it stirred Gabriel. Gabriel yawns tiredly, fixing his glasses that were crooked from sleeping.
“Theo?” he asked in his tired, soft German accent.
“How long have you been researching this, Gabriel?” Theo didn’t hesitate to ask.
Gabriel’s brow raised under his glasses. He looked up at Theo, confused.
“Into what?” he frowned.
Theo went completely silent at that, a rare occurrence.
“Nothing.” Theo offered a smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes, slipping the file onto Gabriel’s shelf.
