AZ County Elections Director Replaced After Arizona Ballot Shortage Disaster

One of the largest counties in Arizona parted ways with its elections director after the office failed to print enough ballots for voters in its Tuesday primary. Yesterday, I looked into changing my party affiliation from Democrat to Independent. I discovered that SC does not register voter party affiliation. Voters just go to the polls and select whatever ballot they want.

OH, where I used to live does register voters by party affiliation, however you can change your affiliation the day of the primary simply by selecting whatever party ballot you want.

Voter Outrage at AZ committee hearing regarding voter suppression during the primary. And rightfully so.
