Is being introverted not a common thing, among Neurotypicals ? Because, i swear to god, everyone i talked about my social difficulties and my aversion for noise was decided to âget me out of my shellâ and to âmake me extrovertedâ.
I didnât told them that i was autistic, because itâs at my workplace and i canât take the risk for the moment, but even then... Donât they know any socially awkward person ? Donât they respect their boundaries ? The worst one was probably this old lady, who decided to make weird and obnoxious noises (like slamming her tongue against her palate) when i was near her. And then, she laughed and mocked me, claiming loudly : âEeeew, noise !â.
Apparently, some of my friends, who are socially awkward, told me that they get the same treatment from extroverted people. The same âyou should get out moreâ and âyou should have more friendsâ and stuff like that...
NTs always tell us that we lack empathy. But they donât display any towards me, other autistic people or even just introverted people, apparently...
