Oh dear, yeah you're all over my feed lol This happens when I follow people...I only follow a blog if I REALLY like more than 70% of what they post, so I tend to give them stupid amounts of notes...I'll stop if it's bothering you
That awkward moment when you thought a popular TV show would have a main character be bisexual just like you and actually express attraction to both genders! Which leads to the heart crushing moment when all the PR and hinting and silly nods towards your ship are crushed by the creator and I realize a bi character on TV is actually as impossible as a unicorn
It's a sad state of affairs when people in the industry who walk around labelling themselves as progressive just end up perpetuating stereotypes and hate towards minorities. Even worse when one of those people is actually a part of that minority. Internalised hatred, is incredibly damaging to young people perception of themselves and how society expects them to behave and/or view themselves. It's ignorant and arrogant to suggest that you are progressive and representative of the community while at the same time actively erasing people from your writing and story.
