As a person who doesn't *need* Alt Text I don't find it at all intrusive (and even if it were slightly intrusive, that would probably be less of a bother to me than having no idea what the image was would be to someone who did).
I can’t even figure out how to access the alt-text on desktop, which is interesting. Mostly I just wonder if it’s annoying for someone with a screen-reader to have to read the description twice.

Oh my god I'm so jealous
I have to say as tours go it’s rather small -- it’s fun, but basically it’s a really long hallway where you can look through big windows onto the factory floor, and there are videos about what’s happening because you don’t really get to see a ton except at the start where they’re sorting the potatoes and the end where they’re sorting the chips. But the gift shop is delightful and you do get a free sample bag!
