Only thing that strikes me as a little odd about this is that he is so happy about punching the shit out of Sommers. Tbf Sommers is horrible and I think anyone would be happy to punch him, but same goes for Doffy and Hody and Arlong and - you get the point. Luffy is a lot more serious during those fights because he knows that it isn’t the time for being goofy. And what are the only times when the enemy has been annoying and horrible, he beats them and then starts laughing? When he’s in G5. There are soooo many examples of really serious situations that luffy’s just laughed about that probably needs its own post tbh

last thing I want to point out is that I’m really pleased in how Ripley has been drawn. Normally in manga and anime the girls aren’t allowed to actually look hurt even when they are, but Oda hasn’t drawn Ripely to be constantly perfect and pretty! She’s allowed to look just as hurt as the men, and really appreciate that tbh

The Hierarchy used to be Hereditary, but because the last queen didn’t have children, they decided that God’s children will be Queen, by that they mean mages which would explain the Classism mentioned in the wiki. 

The Trial is a competition between different women of sorts, your supposed to go through a glass maze to see the Queen inside Levia-Behemo’s temple and receive a revelation, anyone who makes it wins, anyone who fails gets “Divine Punishment” and dies.

It’s heavily implied that Eve is either seeing a future vision, hallucination, or her past life as Demon of Sloth and/or possibly Neo!Eve, meaning that this might be a Court Ending version of the Third Period but we shall see.

Amazing chapter, very trippy, Eve is queen(figuratively and literally lol), Meta is indeed a witch, I got a good look at Raisa and pictured her as ruthless, the coffee bit was a bit funny tho I’m certain it’s laced with Venom, and the Trial looks brutal. However I am a little worried about the incest since I still haven’t recovered from what Ma did to Gallerian, but we’ll just have to see for ourselves.
