It has been so lovely and amazing to watch the fandom come out in droves today to celebrate Sonic’s 30th anniversary. There was so much amazing art, one adorable comic had me tearing up first thing in the morning, the Sonic Symphony was spectacular, at one point I saw Sonic was trending number 2 on Twitter, I had a plushy party with cake, and most of all there was just a huge outpouring of love from fans around the world. We’re celebrating Sonic’s birthday, but it think we’re also celebrating each other—how Sonic brings us all together. And that’s beautiful.
I wasn’t really planning on sharing this drawing today, because it isn’t specifically anniversary related. I drew it for two of my best friends, who I only got to know thanks to Sonic. I got to share all of my excitement with them today. And so, on such a special occasion, and after riding this high of good vibes all day, what better time is gonna come around to share it?
