Titania Inglis takes us into an almost storybook adventure with the premiere of her AW 2016 collection, Syzygy. ‘Celestial geometry’ seems to be what’s inspired the collection and caused it to become a dark, romantic capsule of garments. Pieces like the Orbital Dress, Occult Cape, and Solstice Dress completely screams a dusky thread of Little Red Ridinghood. Titania Inglis celebrates the softness and beauty of women’s bodies through low cut V necklines and leather details with a deep and brooding color scheme. The label clearly has an unapologetic habit of pairing soft textures like their Japanese silk with harsher materials like a sheepskin vest. You can probably recognize the brand worn by Charli XCX, Chelsea Wolfe, Kim Gordon, Meredith Graves, M83, and TLC; or have seen it in Elle, Women’s Wear Daily, and the New York Times.
