Little maavimae sketch

Here are a few rough sketches based on Blood and Gold.

The characters are being affectionate with each other, but it's just like the original source material.

キャラ同士がイチャイチャしているけど原典通りです。

1・ソーン＆マリウス（Thorne&Marius）

Marius dries Thorne's head after his bath. So sweet. I wanted to draw Thorne's chest hair. I'm satisfied.

入浴後のソーンの頭を拭いてやるマリウス。優しい。 ソーンの胸毛は描きたさある。描けて満足です。

2・アビクス＆マエル（Avicus&Mael）

An image from immediately after Marius and Mael's reunion. Mael is still unfriendly. Avicus is ​​friendly. It's amazing how Mael managed to mend their relationship to the point of becoming Marius's friend. It's all thanks to Avicus, who mediated and offered help…thank you.

マリウスと再会した直後のイメージ。 マエルはまだ非友好的。アビクスは好意的。 マエルはよくここから、マリウスの友人になるくらいには関係持ち直したよね。 アビクスがいて仲裁したり助け求めたりしてくれたからだよな…ありがとう。

3・マリウス＆アビクス（Mariusu&Avicus）

The scene where Avicus unexpectedly kisses Marius as he leaves his house. After getting into trouble with Marius, Mael left Marius's house with Avicus…or so it seemed, but Avicus came back alone, hugged Marius, and kissed him on the cheek.

When I first read this passage, I thought my English reading comprehension had gone haywire. No matter how many times I read it, that's the only way I can interpret it, so I'll trust my English abilities.

マリウスの家から去る際のアビクスの不意打ちキス場面。 マリウスとトラブルになったマエルと共に、マリウスの家から出て行った…と思ったらアビクスだけ戻ってきてマリウスをハグして頬にキス。

この場面を初めて読んだ時、私の英語読解力が狂ったのかと思いました。 何度読んでもそうとしか読めないので、自分の英語力を信じる。

4・落書きで描いたアビクス（A drawing of Avicus as a doodle）

He's puffing out his cheeks, looking displeased. He probably had a little argument with Mael. Even if they're close, I think they're bound to argue after living together for centuries. I wonder who'll give in first… Mael is stubborn, after all.

不満顔で頬を膨らませる。 多分、マエルと少し喧嘩した。 仲良くても、何世紀も一緒に暮らしてたら喧嘩することもあると思う。 どっちが先に折れるのかな…マエルは頑固だしな。

5・アビクス＆マエル（Avicus&Mael）

I've written this many times before, but I just can't get enough of these two in Blood and Gold…

A Maker-fledgling relationship that started without love but maintained a good relationship for 500 years—isn't that rare even within the series? Well, I think their relationship largely depends on Avicus's deep affection and patience. Mael from Blood and Gold really doesn't listen to anyone.

ヴァンパイア狩りに精を出すマエルと、そんなマエルを愛でるアビクスの図。

何度も書いてるけど、Blood and Goldではこの二人が可愛くてならない…。 愛のない関係から始まったのに500年は良好な関係を保った親子ヴァンパイアとか、シリーズでもレアでないか。 まあ大半はアビクスの愛情深さと忍耐強さに依存した関係な気もする。 Blood and Goldのマエルは本当に人の話を聞かないからな。
