I have to sit down at this table again—even though I like other characters more than Armand, I’m still stunned by how much nonsense I read about him. But today I’ll probably just focus on the fact that they’re ( show fan) calling us (books fan) racists because we wanted a character faithful to the original, and on top of that, they’re pushing these absurd theories about Marius being racist against Slavs—which is completely untrue. It’s almost laughable that anyone would come to such a conclusion, but aside from that… We book fans are racists because we wanted a character faithful to Armand, a Slav, Marius is racist because, according to them, he speaks ill of Slavs (give me a break 😂), while the fact is that they’re stealing the backstory and artistic references—and what happens to Armand in the books—and mixing it with what happens in the show, to that character who is NOT Armand, taking all of this and erasing the Slavic character to superimpose the one from the show, whose origins and nationality have nothing to do with the Slavic people.... Well, in short, I’d ask myself a couple of questions about who the real racist is—or at least shut up and leave Anne’s books alone. You’re writing nonsense and don’t even realize it—how sad. Anyway, I’d suggest that Book’s Armand be left alone—since you don’t understand him as a character anyway—and instead of stealing stuff from poorly written summaries of TVA and Blood and Gold, just watch the show you like so much and stay out of the book fandom.
