Yes!! I love this idea like this man would stop to help with anything even if he grumbles a bit and can't understand why you can't just get on with it this man would be there helping with anything. Like imagine brushing your horse and he just huffs and takes over, or you mention liking reading so he buys you a new book, or making dinner for the gang and he automatically helps you, or your at a saloon and before you've even perched anywhere he's ordered you a drink and made sure you were safe. lovelies, I have been drafting an idea for Simon as a 1940s soldier in England (like ww2 era?) I am not really clever in terms of history so does anyone have any recommendations of things to watch/read to understand further - also is anyone interested in this if I post it? also is it a socially acceptable thing to write as I don't want to offend anyone, this idea stemmed from watching 'all creatures great and small' and visiting my local war memorial in the summer (which was genuinely so interesting do recommend this) x
