Rashmi was surprised–not necessarily at the kiss, but at the fact that Avery had gotten out so soon. Still, never one to miss an opportunity, she gently grabbed a fistful of the witch’s hair, pulling them closer and deeper, growling against their lips.

She knew eventually Avery would move in on her, it had to happen, always did. What she didn’t expect was the gentleness to it, as if they wanted to make Rose feel comfortable, wanted in a way that was more than just required. That alone was inviting enough.
