timelapse/speedpaint of my fur rendering process in more detail to match with my other tutorial :) i have most fun with this specific texture because i can just completely shut my brain off for it!! i use this texture for grass/plantlife, general fibres and like..human hair not just fur too, but the principals of like. blocking in shapes and refining them is pretty generally applicable! i have uhhhh a scale and a wing tutorial on my list to do but feel free to request others! trying to teach is a form of learning in its own right so its good for me

Hello! If you don't mind me asking, which program do you use for your pixelart? They're so gorgeous and I couldn't help but feel curious!
i use clip studio paint for all my digital art! for pixel art i just set the canvas size reeeeeeaaaaaaal small and then turn on a grid to differentiate between the individual squares better. if you don't feel like paying for any software though i can also reccommend this site which is what i used for a while beforehand to make sprites like the below one! there's definitely more intricate in browser pixel art software to be found, but i found the extreme simplicity more helpful tbh, and it was easy to operate even when i was just using a trackpad rather than my full graphics tablet. it also has a symmetry feature which is nice for doing front view sprites! notably that sprite was i think the first piece of "proper" pixel art i did, which should hopefully illustrate that ive gotten a good amount of growth in :]
