Writing Challenge 7: Pizza
In her life she had made many mistakes.
The pizza tattoo, that was no bigger than a quarter, which rested between her shoulder blades, was a testament to this. In her defence it was college and college is meant to be a haze of alcohol, ramen and mistakes.
It had been the end of her third week when the tattoo showed up. Her roommate at the time had been dating a Lacrosse player and had dragged Darcy to every party that popped up on campus. The fateful tattoo had been a direct result of beer pong and jell-o shots and someone yelling very loudly of the blaring music “PIZZA CHALLENGE”. Not only had her competitive nature taken over as soon as the words were spoken, but she had gotten up on the very table she was playing beer pong on and given a speech that was moving and passionate it mad Braveheart look bad.
That’s how it had happened, Standing between shirtless frat boys she had been the first person to devour two large meat lover pizzas with ranch dressing. With her pants about to rip in two and her shirt straining against the pizza baby that had taken place in her stomach she was forced into a chair as some guy called Tiny had tattooed a pizza onto her skin as a testament of her victory.
Her dad had almost had a meltdown when he’d seen it that summer break.
