While her opinion would be taken into account, a decision couldn't be made from the voice of just one witness. With a sigh, Kurisu would toss the grey magic circle to the side. It would shatter into nothing after about a second. "I want to write down that we're all good here, but the council will get annoyed if I take your word at face value.. give me a few seconds." With a quick motion. He would create another magic circle of equal size, this one blue, and flick the side side. It would spin rapidly as it radiated chronomancy. He would watch it intently and, after about ten seconds, it too would shatter. "Alright. I used some time magic to verify what you said. It looks like a mix of strong magic and an accident. I will meet with him at a later date to give him a list of universal travel regulations, so he doesn't trigger anymore investigations." He would turn to leave, but pause. He was just given some information from the council in real time, so he would look back to Ava. "While he is not guilty of any cosmic crime, one of those regulations is messing with the fate of a timeline.. You are outside of any timeline, so you don't count.. But you'll figure out why I'm mentioning this tomorrow."

Ava blinks slowly. "... I have the ability to mess with timelines if I desire." She shrugs. "But I do not." She goes onto say; "My oath as a Librarian and as a moral compass of mine... I believe things should play out as they are intended. In my two thousand years... I have never broken that law. I..." She trails off and hums thoughtfully. "... I considered it once or twice... mostly because It's in my nature to want to fix people... fix sadness... fix things that are broken." She smiles sadly. "... But I do not."

"I am but an observer of life... of death... and all its facets." She sighs shakily and offers a polite smile. "So you need not worry -- you or who you work for -- about me. I know you were speaking of the Fox Wizard, but I am simply laying my job here for you to see."

With that, she shrugs.

Alhaitham  was  working  late  in  the  library  that  day,  working  on  numerous  things  as  his  new  role  of  Grand  Sage.  At  first,  acting  grand  sage  was  a  change  that  he  was  rather  hesitant  about,  but  the  new  occupation  had  grown  on  him  as  time  went  on.  That  was  to  ignore  the  fact  that  Nahida  grew  extremely  attached  to  him  during  that  time  and  insisted  that  he  consider  it. He  thought  he,  too,  was  alone  in  the  library  due  to  the  stranger's  silence.  He  nearly  crashed  into  her  while  following  the  trailing  line  of  books  to  where  his  objective  originally  was  located. The  blond  hair  captivating  him  for  a  few  moments  before  he  cleared  his  throat  and  realized  he  needed  a  book  where  she  stood  in  the  aisle.

“  Excuse  me.  ”  He  whispered,  leaving  adequate  spacing  between  the  two  of  them.  “  I  need  to  get  to  the  books  in  front  of  you  there.  ”  He  clarified.

She blinks in surprise and shuffles a bit to catch herself. She shifts her gaze up, eyes like frost meeting his. She offers a small smile of apology and speaks; "... My apologies. Please..." She lifts her hands to go and drift her fingers over the spines of some. "Which ones were you looking for?" She inquires softly.

"I'm already here, I might as well make myself useful." She jokes softly. She studies him. Her eyes travel over his form and she notes the small bit of muscle and her cheeks tint just a bit pink as she looks away. She coughs gently... and a wry smile appears. "... I don't believe I've come across you before. Do you work here?"

He gives the man a flat look at Merlin referring to himself as ‘Big Brother’, and huffs. He eyes the blueprints carefully, not entirely sure what most of it means, but knows that his son would know what to do with them. “Personally I don’t care for most of what humans create, not since they split the atom, but my son has a gift for tinkering with machines.” Ginrai lets out a laugh at the request of filming his son’s work, and shrugs. His ears flick at the new voice, turning his head to see Librarian in the flesh. His expression softens as the affectionate display, reminding him of his beloved Lily. Returning her curtsy with a bow of his head, he greets her politely. “Greetings, Lady Ava. I am Ginrai, Japanese God of Earth, Fire and foxes. I came to this impressive Library mostly out of curiosity, but also because I sought to acquire something for my son.” He pauses, thinking about something. “Perhaps you have something for my daughter? She loves history.”

Ava smiles softly. "Greetings, Lord Ginrai. Welcome to the Library." She carries herself with a grace. His request has her tilting her head. "Hmm... Something of history?..." She smiles. "Come. I can let you choose. You know your daughter best." She looks to Merlin who smiles and dips his head, the two leading the way towards the History Wing.

A sprawling place with history from across the multiverse. Ava smiles and she says, "You may choose something. I've copied most of what's here by hand many times. Feel free to pick at your leisure. The Library's knowledge is free to use within reason. Some things I keep personally locked away... but I'm guessing your daughter is quite young, so the things here should be safe." She smiles politely.

"If you have any questions, feel free to ask Merlin. I need to be getting back to work." She curtsies politely and she gives an affectionate look to her beloved who watches after her with a fond expression. Turning his attention back to Ginrai, he smiles.

Joseph   sighed,   shook   his   head   and   stepped   away   from   the   railing.   About   to   sink   into   the   shadows,   wondering   why   he   even   bothered,   when   something   caught   his   interest   in   the   corner   of   his   eye.   He   glanced   over   and   saw   a   pair   walking   in   with   golden   hair.  He'd   never   seen   the   two   before,   and   while   he   didn't   know   every   person   at   the   party,   they   stuck   out   to   him   with   their   brightly   coloured   hair.   He   couldn't   remember   ever   hearing   about   any   corpos   or   their   children   looking   like   that;   aside   from   the   Crownguards,   but   none   of   them   were   here   today. From   his   vantage   point,   it   seemed   the   two   might   be   related   based   on   their   appearance.   That   or   they   were   clones,   which   wasn't   exactly   far   fetched,   but   unlikely.

Their   existence   piqued   his   interest.   Who   were   they   and   why   were   they   here?   The   woman   seemed   to   be   searching   for   something   or   someone,   while   the   man   seemed   to   be   a   bit   aloof   and   bored   —   A   feeling   Joseph   could   relate   to   strongly. He   wondered   what   they   were   searching   for   and   it   was   at   that   point   he   made   his   choice.   He   needed   to   know   more. Joseph   stepped   away   from   the   railing,   deciding   to   join   the   masses   down   on   the   first   floor.   If   they   seemed   amicable   enough,   he'd   approach   them,   but   for   now   he'd   just   linger   nearby.   See   what   they   did,   and   see   what   they   said   to   anyone   who   approached   them.   Perhaps   they'd   even   approach   him   of   their   own   accord. 

His eyes scan about the room and then to his twin who is still searching. "... Anything?" He asks after lowering his his head a bit to look at her so she could read his lips. The woman shakes her head with a small shake. Her gaze turns from him and she sighs softly. "... I can feel the object somewhere but..." She sighs softly.

He hums. "... Well, I guess we search this place up and down. Shall we go?" She dips her head and with his arm around her waist, the two depart towards the back where another large doorway of sorts lies. "... Should we get Merlin to run a scan?" He asks softly. "Hmm... No. Not yet." She can feel her beloved listening in and observing from afar. The two continue their walk for now.

The man turns his head a bit ever so slightly and sees someone out of the corner of his eye... he stops and there is an aloof, bored expression as he tilts his head ever so slightly. The woman looks up. "... Lochan?" She whispers softly.

"We got a curious onlooker incoming." His grip tightens on his twin's waist and pulls her slightly to where he can shield her as he turns and faces the man.

He didn't seem to pay any mind to her attitude. In fact, he kind of looked bored, like this was just something he had to check off a list and keep going. "My name is Kurisu Uzune. They were not the eyes of my 'world', but a notification to an outer-versal realm like this one, the current presiding realm being called the Realm of Light. There are a number of realms like it, and they try to make sure things like cross-universe invasions don't happen outside of their own multiverses. On the grand scale of the Omniverse, they take things rather seriously." He would look around for a moment or two. It was a library, sure.. But a hub of travel? There wasn't anyone else here? Only the one who had just left. . Questions for someone else to figure out. "I'm here because magic like that wizard's could be used for invasions like that. Not to mention the report shows he forced his magic to connect to your Library. I'm already taking a look at his magic in greater detail." With a gesture, the grey magic circle would fling itself off the door and into Kurisu's hand. There, he would begin examining it. "It would seem he spent a good bit of time here, so we would also like you to recount what happened for our records."

Ava raises a brow and she sighs, her smile fading. "My dear Fox..." she steps forward, her hands gently moving together, fingertip to fingertip. "... As far as I know it was a complete accident. To reach this place you need three ways; the Cosmic Key, strong magicks, or a strong will. I give my Cosmic Keys to only a select few people. So far? Only just myself and my familiar."

From the shadows a form emerges. A being with azure scales, large, big as a tiger... a panther-looking creature of some kind. Intelligent yellow eyes observe the fox with amusement almost as he comes to sit by Ava's side and tilt his head.

"There was no harm done here. I assure you." She smiles then. "The Library is for any and all who need knowledge. I am merely its humble curator." She raises a brow then. "... He gave knowledge freely and I gave knowledge back. I see no crimes committed, so if I am comfortable... should you not be too?" She asks with a small tilt of the head.

“Hm.” He eyes the flowers that bloom around them before focusing on the man at the desk. “The Heavenly Buddah was adamant that I know my manners while I was younger. And his bad side isn’t something you’d want to be on.” His ear twitches at the mention of the Lady he’s sweet on. “I see. Still, it’s much cleaner than my father’s library.” He knows one of his titles? Curious. “As I said, I am curious about the Library that rivals that of the Elder God of Knowledge and Wisdom. Not to many across the Universe can to that, you see. Tell me, are you familiar with the humans and their obsession with mechanical giants? My son is obsessed with the concept, and I promised to find him something to sate his curiosity. He likes to build and tinker, you see.”

A flurry or flower petals fall at the fox's feet. A single brow raises in curiosity. "Oh, the Heavenly Buddha? My, my, what a strict tutor to have! You needn't worry about your manners too much here, Fox God. Big Brother Merlin promises not to tell him if you decide to track a little mud into our aisles." He chuckles.

"A library that rivals the Elder God of Knowledge... yes, I suppose my dear Scribe has built quite the impressive sanctuary... and she keeps it much tidier than your father's, I'm sure." The speaking of Mechanical Giants... the look in his eye is one of childlike amusement. A delighted laugh escapes him as he leans back from his staff, snaps his fingers and a small illusionary projection flickers to life -- a beautifully detailed, miniature glowing blueprint of a mech.

"Ah, humanity and their metal titans! Truly, one of their most endearing obsessions. Whether they call them Mechs, Gundams... or Deus ex Machina... mortals do love building things out of iron to match the scale of the Gods!... And for a prince of your lineage to be fascinated by them? How ironic!"

He snaps his fingers again and the blueprint fades into a small portable object. He takes it in his hand before slowly getting up and moving over to Ginrai, offering it to him.

"A promise to a son is a sacred thing." He muses, an unexpected softness there. "... Take this. It contains blueprints that your son might find most interesting. Just… make sure he doesn't accidentally build something that can level a mountain range, alright? Or, well… actually, if he does, please make sure to record it. The Library always appreciates a good action story."

"-- Merlin." A voice cuts through the air that has him turning. An affectionate expression appears in the Magus' eye as she appears. After the Fox God has the object...

"Ah~ My heart, my beloved--" He sweeps over and leans into her space. She smiles at him affectionately and hums. A wink escapes her and he chuckles to himself. Turning her attention to Ginrai, she approaches, offers a polite curtsy before standing to her full height.

When she turned around, only the door would be there. The old wizard not having come back through. There was, however, a grey magic circle on the center of the door. The sigils were moving about, and it didn't look like one of Kabartmak's. From some distance behind her, Ava would hear, "Be at ease. I am a representative of a council that monitors cross universe and multiversal travel." He had not healed or done anything to her lack of hearing, yet his words carried some form of translation magic so potent that it auto-translated into telepathy that was near indistinguishable from natural hearing. Since he was here in an official capacity, he did not travel in his human form, taking in his natural appearance. Standing 6ft tall, 6ft3 with the fox ears, he had white hair that didn't seem messy but wasn't groomed either. He had a visible human face, hands, and feet, and everything else was covered in soft white fur. He wore a white silk robe that was open down the middle, showing he wasn't wearing a shirt, and he was wearing white silk pants. Both had ornate patterns on them. He did have some form of sandal on, but it wasn't of Japanese origin. Behind him were nine long and fluffy tails with that same white fur. His eyes were fox eyes with grey irises. The grey magic circle on Kabartmak's door was his, and it was scanning the magic that it used. "I'm here because we detected multiple new attempts to move between universes. On their own, they would not warrant much, however, the most recent was to this location. Movement to a space such as this warrants investigation."

Ava studies the fox for a moment before taking a few strides forward, her hands coming to rest in front of her. "... Fox Visitor... You do realize that this place is... a hub for universal travel, yes?" She asks in amusement. "This place itself is a conduit and can go between worlds... so I must ask... was this about the Fox Wizard who was just here... or are you saying that the eyes of your world have finally noticed my humble Libary?"

She is deeply amused by this thought... Ah.

"So... blondes, huh, my love?"

"My my... you're never going to let this go, are you?"
