Is your Alucard based on just Hellsing Ultimate or Hellsing as well? I just rewatched Hellsing and although it doesn't follow the manga cannon exactly I love the way Alucard is written.

hopefully that wasn't too painful, i promise fluff will come!! just not anytime soon mwhahaha ( ｡ •̀ ᴗ •́ ｡) i'm not super great at writing actions scenes, but hopefully you were able to visualize the scene. also i tried to stick to the canon, but Diluc lore is very contradictory so i took creative liberties: - diluc's birthday party at angel's share -> changed to at the winery ------ since that's where diluc's bdays have been hosted in the past chapters so wanted to stick with that - it was supposed to be clear skies for the whole attack, and then rain when kaeya and the knights come -> changed it to raining during the attack and then clearing up when kaeya comes ------ i did that bc i thought it fit more with the scene i imagined, and i wanted to use the last line to tie in dusk happening at the end of the chapter - it wasn't clearly shown how the crepus "defeats" ursa or how the rebound effects crepus, so i just used my imagination. i'll probably be creating my own version of the delusion's power for when diluc uses it
easter egg: crepus's name is derived from the Latin word crepusculum meaning twilight or dusk - which is why i wanted to tie his death to dusk

Going forward, I think I should go back to writing shorter chapters like I did at the beginning of the fic for 1) more consistent updates and 2)better for my health and posture
