Calling All Aussie and Kiwi Gt Enthusiasts!
I want to create an Australian and New Zealand size community.
It's been bothering me for a long time that Aus and NZ are lacking in gt events and a sense of community in almost every way. (If there is already one and I've missed it please tell me otherwise but I've not been able to find anything for years)
I'd love for us to be able to host events like SizeCon or meetups or just chats in general, I want the Aus and NZ lurkers to come out and to have a safe space to share in this community.
My grand plan thus far is to start with a discord or whatsapp chat to meet and greet and share. Future plans if I have people to help me will be to try and host the first SizeCon in the Southern Hemisphere. Huge dreams but I do believe that we can do it, I feel like there are heaps of Aussies and Kiwi's in the gt community, we just don't see them as much.
So I'm gonna host this poll to get an idea of numbers here on tumblr, but I'll be making a similar post on DeviantArt as well, please share with any other Aus or Nz users that you know of. I'm really hopeful that I can get this started for us :)
