October Aurora in Maine

Mike from @Taylor Photography caught the dance of the aurora borealis on a recent shoot in Maine (US). The display was dramatic, but was over relatively quickly. He said that the strong vertical spikes and visible oval shape of the aurora were quite a sight. Shown here is one frame from a 40 minute time lapse that he took next to a small pond. The reflection on the water makes this image all the more memorable.
