Auruhu, mother of Ayk. Her right eye is discolored and appears slightly enlarged due to damage received, along with the multiple scars across her face and neck, when Auruhu fought her own sister for the leadership of the clan. The damaged eye is almost completely blind as well (she can see blurry shapes at best with it) but it’s hard to tell with her if she actually suffers from any handicap because of it. Auruhu is pragmatic to a fault often appearing cold, even to her own cub Ayk, however she’s deeply devoted to her clan. She never actually had the ambition to become the Matriarch of the clan but when things turned bad under her sister’s leadership she thought it necessary for the clan’s survival.
