Near and my OC Aura

I know it turned out a bit cheesy 😂

I'd like you to introduce my OC from my own (german) Death Note-Fanfiction called "The Colour of Life". The main paring is Near x OC.

Her full name is Aurora Winter and she goes to Wammy's House together with Near, Mello and Matt. Her given code name is Aura cause she has the ability to see the aura of other people around her and feel the emotions of those people. That's the only reason she goes to Wammy's. Her intelligence is good average and she has a high interest in psychology but also in Near cause that boy is the only big mystery to her. She has a hard time to feel his emotions cause he hides them very well.

For non-german-speakers I'd like to give you a short summary of my fanfiction:

The fanfiction begins in March 2004 when L is already working at the Kira Case far away from Wammy's House in Winchester.

Aura is half Irish and half scotish. She's bad at maths and natural science but very good at drawing and taking photos. She's always searching for new subjects so she loves walking around and finding new places.

When Roger wants Near to make any friends he starts to give Aura private tutoring in maths. So slowly they become friends but Aura is also falling in love with Near although he is 3 years younger than her.

Aura leaves Wammy's House when she is becoming 18 cause she wants to study Psychology at Oxford university. Near stays there and prepares for catching Kira. He also leaves the orphanage soon to do research for the case.

Aura visits Wammy's one day to see Near again but he only left a message for her that he needs time to work and he doesn't want to put her in danger so that's why they shouldn't communicate as long as the Kira-Case takes. She cries about his harsh words and gets slightly depressed for the next months.

An half year later she meets Mello and Matt who are both looking for a place to stay. Mello asks Aura If they can live in her apartment for a while and she agrees. It doesn't take long Mello and her involve a kind of friends-with-benefits-relationship. The time she can spend with Mello is distracting her from her actual pain about Near being absent but when she finds out that Mello also have an affair with another guy she throws them both out of her apartment.

Months later she gets an anonymous call during lecture. It's Near. He wants her to delete all photos of the Wammy's children she has ever taken. Aura hesitates but she agrees at the condition that she can see Near in person again. To her surprise Near is okay with her request and he sends her a plane ticket so she can get to New York....
