Things went to hell in a handbasket while they were stuck at school. She really hadn’t forgiven him since then...

Her ears twitched a little in irritation before Vi stopped again and got to her feet, practically towering over him now that she was up- picking up her laundry basket to hold it under one arm.

gift giving wasn't exactly miri's forte... so when he's handed the bag to sebek, it had been without ceremony or even much of an explanation. he just stuck his hands into his cardigan's pockets and looked off to the side, idly moving the lychee sucker around in his mouth. two thick, bound grimoire style journals - of varying sizes. there were some empty photo album type pages interspersed throughout each book; a few spots already newly housing some choice snapshots miri had taken with the ghost camera. inconsequential candids, of the other first years or diasomnia students at different times when sebek had been present. nothing that crowley would miss, or miri would get a earful for parting with.

These Dreamlike worlds were truly getting to her- first it was her sisters melting into darkness, the next she was wide awake...

well that was no fun.

She was enjoying the peace that came with such lovely dreams.

But of course all good things had to come to an end, sitting on a rock and swinging her legs as she sighed, having zoned out of the explanation a while ago up until her attention was grabbed again. Ah, there he was! Her knight in shining armor!

Quickly, Sally got to her feet and shouldered past Silver and the singular resident of Ramshackle with them to get face to face with Sebek...

"ooooh, hello sir sebek~" A wave of her hands from on her broom before flipping upside down; it's what she got for letting go. Tilting her head down towards him with a grin, "I didn't expect you out so early in the morning, there's still fog on the ground! I still expected you to be sleeping, everyone else is! Except for the birds, they like to sing until the sun rises~"

She hovered closer to him and gave him a little smile upside down, "Oh dear....all the blood is rushing to my head, how surprising~" Sally giggled to herself before leaning forward to give him a little peck on the lips, a hand reaching out to push his hair out of his face as she gave him another upside down kiss. Twice.

Ella giggled and tugged her sister along. "You'll see!"

Once in the garden, Ella stopped and bade Nadia to open her eyes. "Tada!" Ella was nervous, biting her lip in worry. "Do you like it?"

The flowers had taken time to bloom and cultivate but Ella spent weeks in the garden coaxing them forth for Nadia. Ella hated that Nadia couldn't be around roses and did everything she could over the years to see which blooms didn't bother her nose.

A soft blush and smile tugged at her lips as she glanced up at her stepfather. "Is that true? Really?" She hoped to be a light for anyone and everyone in her life. Her stepfamily had no reason to treat her so well after her mother died, but they did, and she wanted to be a good and dutiful daughter and sister.
