I want to work as an au pair for a year when I am done with school
I just found this organisation that helps you and they have loads of information on their site, each country differs slightly of course. In ireland, if I were in an irish-irish family I would be able to learn gaelic and most likely irish dance. If I were in an english-irish family I could possibly do that too...not sure cause they didn't list it.
So that's option 1 and 2
My third option is to go to england, which I have Always wanted to do as well
Or I could go to america, which might be awesome too.
I guess I should write down the pros and cons.....
Ireland:
pros
-loads of free time
-I'd get to go to Ireland
-would be able to learn irish
-might be able to learn irish dance
-loads of nature
cons
-I don't speak irish so that might be difficult if I go to an irish-irish family
England:
pros:
-I'd get to go to england
-I would be able to improve my english
-there's more pocket money than in ireland
cons:
-
America:
pros:
- Β I'd get to travel very far
-I'd get to see their culture (which goes for all options really)
cons:
- I would be very far away from my family
- I am not completly sure if I still like america
Damnn I am glad I still have time to think about this :)
I could also go to france or Germany or Australia (though that's far away too) and china etc
