The GK and aunt Lolly!!
I’ve always wondered about their relationship……
for me (as someone who has had a similar experience with a person like this before), I’d say she was def one of the few people there that gern thought he was genuinely safe with. Or. Well at least safER with. She was probably the nicest one there and the calmest even if she did have more nerve wracking tendencies. I think lolly herself did care for fern but because of her alterier agenda and her herself being manipulated by gumbald, she couldn’t do much with it
anyway so i also really like the idea of them having a sort of uneasy bond even after the war if fern were to live that would steadily grow with time maybe
