I know the beginning could be a bit misleading, but the symbolism behind it doesn’t have to do really anything with religion. What it was representing is that we decide to put down the evil then let it manipulate its own story that courses through the media while we choose to stay ignorant and look on the brighter side (hence why the atmosphere is still underprivileged) such as that clothing brand and stay blindsided by a wolf in sheep’s clothing while it contributes to the greed in the world and only looks after the elites as it cycles through the present. Once the fallen angel falls down you could see hands start praying, but it’s mislead because it doesn’t know what to follow, except to depend on other things rather than themselves. This doesn’t have to do with Christianity or any religion, even though I guess you could say I used it as my tool.
The next slide shows a pair of outlets forming the shape of lungs which is symbolic because of the fact that we basically breathe in technology despite it deteriorating our brain, and without it in some cases become restless because of the damage it caused. then three spines appear representing vulnerability then a cut open fish also in the shape of lungs represent nature and how we take advantage of it. Don’t you kind of see the loop? Higher ups can control technology, but it takes advantage of us and nature can control us, but we take advantage of it? This can also relate to the coyote in a transition.
After that it shows a baby deer hiding behind a larger plastic deer, most likely near a shooting range. This is close to the first paragraph, but it symbolizes that we as humans destroy ecosystems and create artificial life and that deer hiding behind it is the by-product. The next important clip presents the creation of atom when atom lazily reaches out to God, not even lifting a finger while God on the other hand reaches out to him, but can’t quite make it because Adam isn’t putting in the effort it also shows what seems like God, sitting in humans brain with a bunch of angels, whispering, which represents parts of the brain that God bestowed. Then an overlay of a clearer picture of the hands nearly meeting represents that we can see things clearer now, but all roads lead to Rome because we as a society are controlled by apathy.
Finally, on the last slide, it shows a hand next to an animal paw representing a man’s best friend and at the end of the day all we have is one another, no matter how far away we might look even if we’re always lonely, we’re never quite alone even if it leads to bad places (I didn’t get all this from one picture. It’s kind of like the whole edit together).
Bonus the slide of Adam and Lawrence from saw shows that despite the sacrifices and the torture and the truth being uncovered and Lawrence’s family at risk all they have in that room to trust for six hours is themselves. After Lawrence cuts his leg off and then shoots Adam in the shoulder because he was tasked with killing him, they hold onto each other reassuring that everything will be ok when it’s clearly not and they don’t know what they are going to do, but they have to hold onto each other sanity for the time being. that’s the beauty of human nature, even when another human causes the disruption.
