So like two days ago I was going through the top hits fics on ao3, where I came across ybtm(ibty), I fell in love with the summary, then spent the next few hours obsessively reading the fic, and the last two days Iāve literally re read it like 10 times, I havenāt been in the HP fandom in years but somehow this brought me back and made me obsessed with it again, awesome story, awesome writing, awesome premise, just awesome everything. Anyway, I made like a list in my notes, the list started after I first finished the fic for the first time and it was like things I wanted to see in the future/things I was excited to see in the future, then became a list where I literally just thought dumped like a crazy person. One of the greatest fics ever Iāve ever read 10/10. Also this is in no way meant to be like āDo these things in the futureā type list, it was just my thoughts snowballing into a giant avalanche that broke the side of my head and got out into the whole wide world that I wanted to share

22 The difference in Orion and Tomās reactions to āNathanā coming back from the dead are so beautiful to me. Orion wants to know how he did it, he wants information, answers, secrets. Tom wants to have, the power he saw that day, the immortality Nathan/Harry portrayed. Orion wants the secret of how he did it, Tom wants to do it himself. But their responses, their approaches, their executions are so similar.
23 Also love that Orion has like a monopoly on Nathan/Harry related knowledge right now. Even Tom acknowledges it. He might not tell Tom about āNathanā waking up if he doesnāt want to, might not invite him along to Ciroās house. Cynthia has no fucking clue who Tom is but Orion has managed to charm her. So very unfair and sneaky and fun
24 My humor system is a bit fucked but Benedict thinking his son wants to return home to them while Harry is like I need to get away so I donāt explode with magic and kill everyone here is a bit funny. But like in a cruel way
25 I feel like Simon is gonna try to silence Orion somehow (with the alcolytes again perhaps?) and I will literally kill him if he dares touch my boy. Also Harry would kill Simon if he crossed that line, Orion has grown on him
26 One part of me wants Tom to not learn his true parentage, not go on that path, not open the chamber of secrets because he is so obsessed with and so distracted by Harry. The other part of me wants him to do that all and for Harry to shut him down

28 Also love, even after everything, the person that is supposed to be the āclosestā to Nathan, Simon, has the least idea he is a different person. Tom and Gus have figured it out, Orion regards him as āNathan or whoever is in the boyā but Simon still completely believes this is his brother, just with amnesia. But he is also the only person āNathanā looked in the eye of and said āIām not your brother, he is deadā
29 Adding to point 26, just imagining Tom delaying the whole Heir of Slytherin/Chamber of Secrets and murder of moaning Myrtle/Changing his name to Voldemort because he is distracted by the mystery of āNathanā is so fun
