Day 37 of 365 Over the last year or so I have tried, tested and written about several @augustinusbader products. Last year in the list of new products launched was The Serum. Now first things first one of their main marketing for their Cream and Rich Cream was not having the need to use a serum. So I wonder what changed?? Anyhow let’s talk about The Serum. Just like their other products this also TCF8 blend and also includes Vitamin C, actives that help rejuvenate and protect the skin. It helps in minimize signs of aging, imorove texture, plumps, lifts, hydrates, calms, balances, and protects. Like the eyecream it comes in a removable vial in glass jar so you can purchase just the refill vial. Now let’s talk about the serum application. I take 2 pumps and apply it in upwards motions to cleansed skin (face, neck and décolletage) in the AM and PM. I let it absorb for a minutes before moving in to moisturizer. After using my skin was super hydrated, plump and smooth. I loved how my skin felt but what I do not love is the price tag it came with. Day 15 of 365 Happy long weekend. As we gear up for a winter storm staying in for a low key weekend. We are enjoying some cognac by the fireplace… of course the husband is glued to TV watching football 😂🤦🏽‍♀️ and I am working on blog content. I know the eye cream was a meh for me but one of the other new products @augustinusbader came out with last year was a hair oil. Now here is a product I really really like. This oil comes with TCF8 and is infused with vitamins and amino acids. It helps in conditioning, nourishing, and lessen breakage and protects hair against damage (heat and environmental). Directions say to apply 1-3 drops from mid length to end. I will say a little goes a long way and since I have shoulder length hair I go with one maybe 2 drops max. It is lightweight absorbs well and detangles without leaving the hair greasy. I am seeing some reduction in breakage(nothing significant yet) plus my hair is shinier and soft. I have used it on damp hair and on dry hair as well. Little disclaimer: I haven’t used heat styling products for a while so can’t say much about the protection from heat styling. Day 13 of 365 Let’s take a break from shampoos for a bit and talk eye cream today. I have written about @augustinusbader products before. Last year they launched a few new products one of which was their Eye Cream with TCF8. In addition ingredients include Vit C, Niacinamide, French Seaweed, Pennyworth and more. Let’s start with the beautiful packaging. It’s comes as a removable vial in a glass jar. The glass jar is gorgeous and such a statement piece. Now let’s talk about the eye cream. It’s a lightweight formula that absorbs well into the skin and is supposed to help reduce signs of aging, reduce puffiness (which is an issue for me), make the area around the eye look firmer and hydrated. I applied in the AM and PM. Taking a pump on my fingertip I applied it in the undereye are and below the brow bone by gently tapping (per the instructions). Just like their other products this one did not disappoint. It hydrated and slightly helped with puffiness but the only wow factor is the price tag it comes with 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️.
