August 2021 Reading goals ✅ August WAS a blah reading month for me. My issues with reading during the pandemic continue to keep me from truly escaping into my books and enjoying them. I just feel like I can’t find my reading groove. I didn’t meet all of my August 2021 monthly goals since I did not read all of my bookclub selections. 🤷🏽‍♀️ 📍LGBT read: I did listen to Southern Comfort by Skyy (f-f) who is also a BiPOC author. Perfect on Paper by @sgonzalesauthor was probably my favorite read of the month. . Good morning 🌄🌅🌄 booklover 📚 . Seperti biasa di penghujung bulan adalah saatnya utk #wrapupbooks dan selalu membuat saya happy sekaligus introspeksi jenis genre spt apa yg aku lebih demen dibaca atau author mana yg bakal jd favorit. . Bulan Agustus 2021 ini saya ikut dua challenge saja yaitu #readalongwithyun dgn tema nonfiksi dan #rcandridipiagustus2021 utk women author. Walaupun kebanyakan gagal demen tapi saya menyelesaikan 27 buku, kebanyakan gak tebal kecuali "Aroma Karsa" Dee Lestari yg 700 hlm. Kebanyakan msh rating 3 ⭐. Pengecualian bbrp buku klasik msh aku suka 4 ⭐ spt "Around the World in 80 Days" by Jules Verne, "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe" by C.S. Lewis, "Death on the Nile" by Agatha Christie. . Yg mengejutkan saya ternyata saya sangat suka 5 ⭐ buku "I Am Malala" by Malala Yousafzai dan "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" by Robert T Kiyosaki. Saya juga lumayan suka 4 ⭐ "The Happiness Project" by Gretchen Rubin dan "A Child Called 'It'" by Dave Pelzer. Semuanya genre nonfiksi. Mungkinkah ini pertanda saya kudu banyak baca nonfiksi dan klasik? 🤔 . Total pages read: 8,762. Biar tipis gpp asal enjoy.
