August Jerndorff (Jan. 25, 1846 - 1906) was a Danish painter whose father was a Royal Court painter and whose son also became an arrtist. Jerndorff trained at the Academy and then spent two years in Italy. Later in life he became an Academy Professor.
August Jerndorff mastered landscape and religious/mythological painting, but is chiefly remembered for his portraits.
