He simply sits there, watching Junhui pack and praying that he would hurry up – because he couldn’t bear watching his entire world unravel at the seams while his everything is still crying gently – but also hoping everything would slow down – so that he’d have more time to figure out how to make it all better (even though he knows he can’t).
When Junhui finishes packing, he stands there with his back to Minghao. His fingers are trembling and all Minghao wants to do is to wrap him in a hug (but he doesn’t). Instead he watches in silence as Junhui slips out the door and out of his life with the ease of sand slipping between clumsy fingers.
