Someone open, accepting, who understands if she did do the murders, and believes her if she didn't. Someone who'll be fine without many public displays of affection, but also accept the fact that there will be many private ones. Someone who'll know when "Leave me alone," means "I need some space," and when it means "Please hold me before I break." Someone who won't try to own her.

((Have decided that Lizzie's cisswapped name will be "Andrew Richard," with his nickname being "Ricky." I figured since her father named her "Lizzie Andrew" after himself, he'd still have given his son the first name of "Andrew," and that he wouldn't give the boy a middle name modeled after his own father, since Andrew hated the man. I found a family tree, and "Richard" was a pretty damn common name in the Borden family (there's seriously three straight generations of fathers and sons named Richard in Lizzie's direct ancestry alone, to say nothing of aunts and uncles,) so, yeah, that seemed like a reasonable name. And I don't see any iteration of Lizzie putting up with being called "Junior," and I wanted the name to still sound sorta like "Lizzie," so "Ricky" it is!))
