Atreezan is a character that’s naturally good. he believes in the idea of hope and man’s inherent need to be good for themselves and those around them.

He understands evil and has been in a toxic, parasitic relationship with his genie patron for hundreds of years.

Strahd and Atreezan are very similar in their mannerisms; they’re both intelligent, thoughtful, and capable to reading others in ways that the other members of my party are not

Strahd wouldn’t be able to take advantage of Atreezan’s good nature, and Atreezan would see right through him
