Also makes obvious the lack of features on the platform, Bluesky is pretty raw at this moment and to be honest I do prefer Activity Pub.

A Pinterest Alternative
Very excited to find an alternative to #Pinterest. Pinterest enshittified REALLY early on. When it first came out, I really loved it... and used it regularly. But they just wouldn't leave it alone and every "improvement" seemed to make it worse. And the amount of ads they kept adding made it more and more useless. I stopped using it years ago, but still really missed what it started out as.
Anyway, someone is developing an #ATProtocol copy and I'm kind of excited for it. It allows importing from Pinterest (which I have). Import is VERY slow... took a few days to fully copy my stuff over.
I've got some sewing and costuming projects coming up and I want to test it out for collecting images and inspiration onto boards with it.
