1. What was the original thought that led to the creation of this character?

Honestly I think it was gradual. I picked up Fallout 3 again then immediately got distracted by Mr Burke, looked him up on ao3 and got inspired to write something. And I was just thinking what happens after all these oneshots, how would a relationship between LW and Burke look? So I mulled on that for a while and started forming ideas for a longer arc.

Role first as explained above. When I got to specifics, I think maybe appearance idk. I just had a look in mind for whatever reason.

I suppose name felt most difficult, I scoured name lists to no avail and just used a place holder for a while so I could start writing something.

11. Is there any existing character from other media that your character resembles? Was the resemblance intentional or was it a coincidence?

I didn't consciously have anyone in mind, but ofc it's hard not to see a character do one thing that yours would and go

I'd be interested to know if you have drawn any parallels to anyone??

And one for Burke just cause: 19. What is your general favourite thing about the character? What is your least favourite?

Favourite has to be- idk if there's a single word for it- his absolute comfort with confrontation. Like if someone tried to bully, intimidate or threaten me into something, I'd be mad or flustered or meek and not keeping my cool. Whereas Burke would simply say ✋️"No. And now what are you going to do about that?"

The pain in your chest bubbles knowing that what you want may never be yours. You're lost in a fantasy world, or consumed by what you wish you were or had as opposed to what you do. It's hard to appreciate what's around you when you're appreciating the hope of what could be instead.

Your expectations are ones you can barely meet. You compare yourself to others, but with a hypocritical light. You'll never find what you're looking for if you're laying down half of what you receive. It stings to be given less than expectations you've set, but if they were more reasonable, do you think even then you'd be happy?
