A 118 part series on the elements, in order of abundance on the planet earth, including common uses, where they’re most prevalent, and what would happen without them. Each part of the documentary is weighted to the abundance, so oxygen’s documentary portion would be 470 hours long, whereas something like synthetic radioisotopes would only be seconds long, really just a guy in a lab coat holding a model of what Oganesson should look like and screaming it’s name and atomic mass into the camera. Sequels would include the series reordered for chemical abundance in the solar system and then galaxy, again weighed proportionally towards abundance (who’s ready for a 600 year long documentary on hydrogen, including several months of people on camera trying to come up with words that might rhyme with “hydrogen”?!) And perhaps a mockumentary on fictional elements like unobtanium or adamantium.
