I'm way too hormonal to be coping with the baseless rumours that were flying around yesterday. It was clearly a smear campaign to fuck up Ateez's virality in SK and Yunho was the unfortunate target. Seeing some atinys take this rumour at face value and run with it made me want to scream! LEAVE MY BOY ALONE!
And then they were like, it's fine for him to date, let's all be cool about it. But they weren't cool about it. They were discussing it and dissecting it and meme-ing it rather than seeing it as a gross invasion of privacy to have a relationship/breakup revealed (if it was even real - which I don't believe at all). All of this noise amplified this smear making Yunho the main character of the day.
I try not to be a humourless damp squib but it pissed me off. Seeing Yunho quite muted and not his usual self at that Italian music festival doesn't surprise me one bit. I feel that group hug at the end of This House Ain't a Home was their way of showing solidarity as a team and support for Yunho.
Notice how the narrative has completely changed now and disrupted the momentum?
*sigh*
I'm going to cling to the bright sparks that make me smile. The Script writing a comment in Korean to ask Yunho to sing with them must have felt great for Yunho. I hope it happens.
