Sorry to say that my Brick ReNouveauTion entry will be late. Unfortunately I’ve had one of the worst weeks for my mental health in recent history (and thats saying a lot) as well as a family emergency come up a few days ago and a very bad thing happen to me at work all within the same week. One after another. Also to the anon who sent me an ask I’m not ignoring you I promise, I’m just not really here right now.

#things just keep getting worse #I had a family emergency and an extremely bad thing at work happen #and several breakdowns #and now i feel unsafe at my workplace #and im at my emotional limit #im sorry to the anon who sent me an ask #i feel disappointed in myself #but also i just need a break from existing for a while #unless some sort of manic energy comes to me tonight i don't think it will be done in time #athena stuff #im just kind of numb right now after being very emotionally charged all week

I’ve been absent a lot this week and its just because my life has taken a chaotic turn. Between some personal family stuff, a side gig I’ve taken on, hell time for my mental health and my main employer being so awful that my colleagues and I have had to contact the labour board and organize independently to have our safety and rights taken care of I’ve just been burned out and unable to work on much.

But (not to jinx it or anything) I’m happy to say things seem to be taking a turn for the better and maybe after taking all these L’s I’m way overdue for some wins. I can’t wait to show you all the next chapter, and finish working on fandom things. Its a rare bright light in my life and I’m so grateful to have such a great community to turn to, you’re all so supportive and patient. The kindness in your hearts gives me so much hope. I don’t know what the point of this post is other to say thanks for just being.

Sometimes if we're short staffed I get asked to cover incoming calls for a full day at work and I'm reminded how much talking to people for 8+ hours drains me the fuck out and I'm also reminded of our zero tolerance abuse policy and how some people don't realize how willing I am to implement that and hang up on them the moment they become disrespectful or shouty and that power instantly recharges my stamina

#we have a zero tolerance policy for that language sir feel free to call back when youre ready to speak to me respectfully #nah you're not speaking to a manager you're speaking to THE VOID #my dude ive been mentally checked out for 6 months im not listening to you yell at me #i am blessed with a manager who laughs when i tell her i had to hang up on a dickhead #tired to wired #athena stuff

Really excited to release this next chapter once it's beta'd. Its such a pivotal one, I was waiting to write it since the beginning. I'm so grateful to everyone that reads my fic, I can't wait to share this with you!!

#im sorry for rambling im just really happy with how it turned out #ive had parts of it drafted since before i finished the first chapter #and i cant wait to release it and see everyones reaction #truly my readers are incredible and make me so happy #also i made myself cry when i proof read it so thats a good sign #athena stuff

I'm also going to be posting my art more, I know a lot of you follow me for writing and might not care to see it but art requires a different energy level and I've decided to embrace the moods for whichever form I'm feeling more. Creating content - no matter the form - is overall helping my mental health and energy, and I don't want to hold back.

September may have been my worst month this year but I have good feelings about October

I ordered a skateboard and a helmet so i can try to avoid the subway now that i have to go back into the office and I just got an email saying they cancelled part of my order.

I’m just getting a helmet now? Safety first i guess???

#my PPE just upgraded #i would get a bike but all the fucking bike shops in toronto have massive wait lists #this just proves the theory that im not cool enough for a skateboard #athena stuff

My husband just revealed something to me and I'm still in shock. He's had tumblr for years (that part I knew) and never in this time has he ever once installed or apparently even heard of X-KIT. He's just... witnessed this hellsite for what it truly was, raw and unflitered this entire time. I'm terrified by his power.
