Alright! Cold weather in Texas is finally here. Time to wear my heavier and stronger perfumes. ;) When I lived in Ohio it was more common for me to rotate perfumes with the seasons. Since living in Texas I tend to stick with the lighter, floral or citrus perfumes.
Lately I’ve been enjoying a sample of Rhinoceros from Zoologist. For me it starts out as a leather bomb. Like you’re in a leather goods store. After the leather note calms down a little I get a nice boozy (rum/bourbon?) and tobacco notes. Sometimes I smell a little chocolate or coffee. Definitely would be too much for summer or for work.
Other perfumes I like for the winter
Zoologist: chipmunk, bee and musk deer
Atelier cologne: vanilla insensee and cafe tuberosa
Tom Ford Noir de Noir
