So many who came in after me got the help they needed but I continued to go unnoticed. My health has declined and I will probably take my last breath on my own soon. Why did I not matter? I may not have done well with other dogs but I loved people especially my best friend Jani. She always comes to see me and takes me out for walks. She gave me hope and told me I mattered. If only more felt that way. Iām tired of hoping and tired of fighting. I struggle to breathe and walk now. I waited for 10 long months and fought to stay alive but I see now that it may have been for nothing.
