just bought groceries and the guy behind me easily bought 15 pounds of meat, ranging from shrink wrapped cuts of chuck roast to boneless skinless chicken thighs to a singular 3 lb package of ground beef. i didn't even know they sold the rectangular plastic ground beef cartridges in weights of more than 1 lb before transitioning to the Meat Tube. and the worst part is that the container was too fucking big for the amount of meat in there and there were maybe 8 square inches of just. empty space. wasted. and for what??
what could this man possibly be buying all of this for. meat prices are outrageous and on the rise but it can't possibly be to this apocalyptic of a degree. he could've bought all of this AND MORE at costco for Half of the price. i'll be thinking about this for weeks
