What is Globalization? In short, it is the learning of modern day culture that everyone needs everyone, or just international integration. Sadly, not every country feels this way. However, it is becoming a necessary viewpoint. Why? An example would be the destruction of the Barrier Reef in Belize. Its destruction causes chemical imbalances which may help to produce up coast moving hurricanes that can affect the U.S. The positive viewpoints of globalization include helping countries that may otherwise perish without this viewpoint. Another positive viewpoint is that countries give in to the comparative advantage theory which can help in trade relations. A negative would be a cause of dependency by some countries. Dependency is dangerous because now the trade relationship may become a parasitic one.
