Pairing: Miles1610 x reader!

Summary: Y/N is having a chill moment on the roof of her apartment until someone intercepts a picture she was taking.

A/N: this is my first miles 1610 fic, I hope you guys enjoy because I certainly did writing it. I added a song to listen to while reading it if you want to listen to it. I will also be posting once a week until I have more creative juice Love you guys ENJOYYY!!!.

It was a hot day in Brooklyn, New York, so you decided to go up on the roof to look at your city. It was beautiful, the sunrise was ethereal. You decided to draw while listening to music you loved. The scent of the air was fresher than usual, the sound of the train was refreshing, and hearing the ice cream truck go past your apartment was nostalgic. Sometimes you wish you had a companion with you to also enjoy this scenery with you, it's really intimate to share with someone you’re close with. You take a picture of the sunset but something intercepts your picture. You tilt your head looking at it until you hear a voice.

“Oh you're taking photos of me? Did you get my good side?” The mysterious voice said, you furrow your eyebrows, chuckling turning behind you.

“No you were just in the way”. You say recognizing the figure Spiderman (Miles)

“Wow but what are you doing up here it's dangerous you know” Miles says concerningly.

“Yeah I know but it's calming to me hearing the natural sounds of the city” You say taking a deep breath. Miles has a crazy Idea in his head.

“Since you love the city so much, do you want to go for a swing with me?” Miles asks, you look at your skin and your size before immediately declining,

“Absolutely not I might be a little too heavy for you to be caring around swinging from building to building”. You stated, Miles rolled his eyes sighing.

“I'm not Spiderman for nothing I'm strong and your size is perfect, you’re perfect” Miles says reassuring you, your skin is dark but you can’t help but to blush and get a little flustered.

“Okay fine but pls be careful”. You say, Miles nods his head and directs you to come over and hold onto him. You pray before you even think about moving, you wrap your arms around his waist taking a deep breath.

“Hey its ok I got you I won’t let anything happen to you preciosa” He says calming you down, you tighten your grip hearing him chuckle.

“Okay I'm going to start shooting webs now”. He announces shooting a web, you open your eyes looking at the building with a smile on your face.

“You ok?” He asks, proceeding to swing”.

“Yes it's even more beautiful than just being on a roof”. You say with a smile on your face. The sunset continues to go down and New York lights up. The lights are beautiful, you feel the air on your skin feeling safe with Spiderman. 

“Hey you hungry?” Miles asks

“Totally” You reply he nods his head, stopping at a vendor putting you down safely. You stand behind him to make it seem like you're not with him, you're with Spiderman for crying out loud you don’t want a lot of attention on you. He orders for himself getting another order for you assuming you were shy. Miles directs you to walk away with him, you wrap your arms around him again, he swings back to your roof. He gives you your food, you sit on the ground.

“Oh right you can’t eat with me you have to take your mask off” You say sadly.

“Oh no I'm going to stay. I'll eat later when I'm at home. This drawing is beautiful, "he says, looking at your drawing of the sunset.

“Thank you, I love to draw. I'm often up here drawing, it's a passion of mine or just to look at the city and enjoy nature”. You say with a smile.

“I like that, I also draw in my free time listening to music”. Miles says sitting on the ledge of the roof. You sit next to him nodding your head.

“Yeah I love music too it's definitely an es-”

 “Escape” You and Miles say at the same time looking at each other, You look into the night sky rocking back and forth enjoying this.

“You know I’ve always wanted to share a moment like this with somebody it's really intimate to me” You say.

So...Miguel has a family but he hasn't told the other Spiders. One day he has to take his baby to work to look after him for a while. But then, in his office, bang the Spiders and see Miguel with a baby in his arms/or in a baby carrier. Later Miguel's wife comes in the picture too to take the baby in their universe.

“”Are you infected??”

You were typically the one to watch the kids, the double trouble twins. Miguel was a busy man, protecting the spider-verse and all, so you would work from home and play with the twins. It wasn’t so bad, of course Miguel felt bad that he couldn’t have as close of a relationship with them but they still very much knew who their daddy was ((and you did too 😳)). But overall it was a good system and you would get to take things slow at home while being a fun mother.

However, every so often there was days you would need to go into work, very rare but still at least a semiannual occurrence. Sometimes you would even take them into work and they would end up bothering coworkers, but most times you were able to get a family member or close friend to watch them but as they’ve gotten older, spider powers started to shine through. Not only was it hard to control them but it would be too revealing.

Obviously nobody knew Miguel was spider-man, but if two twins started to hang on ceilings, people would eventually put two and two together. This meant you couldn’t leave them with family, resulting in Miguel carrying them around in double baby backpacks. One would be on his chest, the other in him back.

Miguel, in typical fashion, stayed in his office. Nobody assumed anything by his yelling, the man was weird, what would be surprising if he was schizo? Although every now and then people would look at each other, it didn’t sound like typical frustration or talking to himself, it was almost a back and forth. They were in no way heavy, but oh my, they were annoying. How did you get a grip on these two? They’re animals. Halfway through the day, the twins got out of the carriers and there was no going back.

“Put that down! Ay- I’m sorry don’t cry- HEY”. Miguel was struggling, because he loved the kids and he felt so bad for yelling but they wouldn’t listen. He thought to himself about the teens. You’d think as they get older they’d be better, but he saw himself comparing them to his 1 year old twins.

Disgusted at the thought, he grabbed them and webbed their hands. They giggled, struggling to get it off. It was a good distraction….. for like 3 minutes, then they were back to running around. He tried playing fetch with the twins but that didn’t go very well. They were just.. confused. Why did he throw the toy the just got. Although he appreciated their thinking skills, he really had no idea what to do. He held both of his kids, they hung from his arms and were climbing around him like a jungle gym.

Completely lost in thought about his children dilemma, the doors to his office opened, and the lovely teen band walked in. What a sight for them to see. Miguel standing completely disheveled and staring into space, a kid on his shoulder grabbing his ear, and another kid gorilla hugging his ((massive)) leg and trying to bite the suit.

Panic bells went off, everybody rushing over to Miguel. Was this an attack, was Miguel okay? Oh my gosh he’s being attacked by alien morphing baby things. As they all got ready to ready for the babies, Miguel jumped back, making sure to grab hold of his kids, and getting defensive.

“What the hell is your guys problem?!!” He shouted, sheltering both of his kids, who were now on high alert and looking fearful.

“Are those Aliena??? What happened to you, what did they do?? Why do you look like that!” Miles replied back to him, pointing his fingers at both babies. “Are you infected??”

Hobie, naturally didn’t look concerned, and stop back. “Mate, they look just like him”

“They bit him and took his DNA!! That’s why he’s protecting him”, Pavitr shouted while getting in an offensive position. Hobie almost lost is as he hurled over. Gwen looked over for a moment, then back to Miguel. “Wait… those are your kids”

“WHAT”. Miles and Pavitr shouted, looking at the very tired Miguel. “By that doesn’t make sense- you’re not- are you married??”. Questions flew right and left, chaos ensued as the babies ran around again. Miguel was done, SO DONE with babysitting the actual babies and now the teens.

Suddenly the door opened again, a very sweaty you running through. “Oh Miggy- I’m sorry I’m late I just got so lost in this place, but I’m here for the twins”. Miguel looked over at you in panic, the teen’s immediately stopped in their tracks. As the kids ran to you, so did the teens…. and what was supposed to be Miguel’s saving grace, ended up in having everybody over for dinner.

Ahh I’m sorry if this isn’t exactly what you asked for, I traveled today to see a college and I’m writing this very late so I hope you don’t mind that it’s rushed. I’ll get more writing done this week since I’m on break, I promise!

You take a risky seat on the railings of the balcony, taking in the cloudy view of the city. It was fun being able to do stuff like this, but the baggage is starting to get to you. After being given the inevitable tasks to ‘protect the city’ and stuff was not your thing. You always seemed to prefer being part of the sidelines rather than being the person in charge of it all.

“With power comes great responsibility, he said.” You mutter, rolling your eyes, eyebrows furrowed. “I didn’t want this stupid power!” You reply to yourself, groaning. You lean your back and let out another exasperated groan at the sky.

“You done?” You hear a familiar female voice say behind you. Footsteps following, and soon you saw a familiar blonde adorning a fit black and white-suited Spiderman outfit leaning on the railing next to you. “Still hating on your new powers?”

“Absolutely.” You reply, sighing. “I like the whole ‘having powers’ thing and all, until I have to save the city over some stupid debacle.” You ramble on, rolling your eyes as you gaze into the clouds.

“I didn’t choose to be this stupid thing, I wasn’t even thinking of being a hero—then you pulled me into thinking that.. that..” Your voice trails off, hands on your hair, ready to pull them out. “That.. This! This would be fun. That we’d be able to be together through it but…” you trail off again, sighing, lifting your legs to your chest as you close your eyes. “I’ve done nothing but do all this alone. I miss you., Gwen, I really do.”

“(Name)…” you heard her mumble out your name, you just sigh when you felt a warm arm wrap around you. “If that’s how you’ve been feeling, why not just text me? You know I’m always happy to help.” She says, rubbing your side with her hand, reassuringly. You lean into her side.

“I dunno, I didn’t wanna bother you.” You reply, curling yourself into a ball as she hugged your side. “I know you have your own problems and stuff like that…y’know?”

“You don’t have to worry so much, with you, I’m always free.” She reassures you once more, shifting herself so that you both we turned to the side so she could wrap her arms and legs around you. You smile, leaning yourself onto her chest and relaxing at the sound of her heartbeat.

‘I missed this.” You mumble, feeling a yawn escape your lips.

“I missed you.” She replies, squeezing you gently and placing her chin atop your head.

•Xina is the first person Miguel meets at school who defends him from everyone else When Miguel asks why… The answer was simple I recognized your name… My best friend used to talk about you they were called Y/N. *Miguels eyes go wide with that and in some weird attempt to hold on to what he lost he latches on to Xina.

•When he got older his resentment for Gabriel boiled over Gabriel stole the love of his life so Miguel would return the favor…. So he does cheating on Xina with Dana…

All in some weird way because of loosing y/n

•None of those things brings back the dead though. So Miguel keeps his promise a bag of Taki’s and some flowers every year on the anniversary of when… of when he lost them..Its a ritual Miguel couldnt save them so he would at least remember them…

•Until decades later when he finds multiple universes finds it…. Finds them … and finds Y/N Alive…. His Y/N with his Last name… his house … his Y/N with him..

That in and of itself was everything he could have asked for… but when he sees the little girl ,his little girl

When he hears his daughters name for the first time he cant help but chuckle… because in this universe he doesn’t resent Gabriel for taking Y/N from him… he Owes Gabriel for introducing him to the love of his life…

So his daughter Gabriella her name made perfect sense…

You were casually coming from the bodega, you were hungry and wanted a baconeggandcheese. It was after 10 your music was on the highest volume, trying to get home before anything happens. As you were walking you saw a figure, jumping from apartment to apartment.

At this time of night, Miles patrols the city looking to start trouble or finish them. He sees you walking home and noticies who you are. Miles always sees you doing side quests late at night, or just walking down the street with a book, vinyl, or trying to do homework while walking down the street. He wondered why someone so busy, and pretty like you is wandering the streets late at night. Everytime he is patrolling or districting things he notices you walking around unprotected.

He has this bright idea to talk to you and pick your brain, it’s nothing going on so why not. He jumps down from the roof of an apartment, staying there for a bit before crossing the street approaching you. You were casually waiting for the light to change and you feel a presence beside you, you look up and get startled.

“What type of Halloween costume YOU got on?” you spat out of fear.

“A pretty creative one”. Miles replies

“If you want to kidnap me just do it you got all the time” You say nonchalantly hoping nothings gonna happen to you.

“I don’t want to kidnap you, I see you often at this time and was curious what you are doing at 10:30 walking the streets” Miles asked out of curiosity. You were skeptical about this conversation, he’s the prowler, why is he worried about me and why do I catch his attention?

“Ok prowler what do you want? why do you choose to talk to me out of all other women”. You state leaving Miles tilting his head.

“Wouldn’t you love for the “villain” to be checking up on you” Miles asked, you looked at him like he was crazy.

“Uhm good question but no you look intimidating and crazy in this purple outfit”. You say chuckling, Miles rolls his eyes under his mask.

“Haha very funny” He says in a mocking tone, you laugh to himself immediately stopping.

“Ooo I got miss don’t look out for me laughing ok” Miles says

“Pfft pls you are the joke I’m laughing at but quick question? how do you just notice me?” You ask, finally crossing the street, continuing to walk home.

Miles follows you answering your question “I notice you because you're the only person around at 10pm also you always have something going on you’re just in your own world. You smile at what he said.

“Well thanks I’m constantly in my own world listening to music, it’s an escape for me and I never care about what time it is because I can protect myself.” You say

“Yeah you can protect yourself but it’s not good to think that way, I want to protect you out here. A smart and goal oriented girl like you can be snatched up in a second” He says looking down at you.

“Oh really I’m smart and goal oriented?” You laugh rolling your eyes

Miles tilts his head, “What’s wrong with that? I’m just being honest”.

“Nothing I’m not used to not being complimented on my personality right away or not seen as easy, you look at me as a human” You say with a slight smile.

“Of course all you are is a human, that I see as fragile and that I want to protect. I don’t know you but your energy speaks to me” Miles says

“Wow you stalk me and you know alot about me, are you really a villain?” you say with a chuckle.

“I’m not a stalker I just know, and it’s not about your looks I like when I see you, I like your mannerisms that I see. I saw you once with a vinyl I’ve never seen, you were so happy just with that one vinyl you did a twirl down the street that was so adorable.” Miles says, smiling down at you.

You cover your face out of embarrassment “No way that’s so embarrassing”.

“It wasn’t to me it was cute, wherever you go get food out of the bodega I notice how happy you’re you enjoy your own company and I like that about you now I also like how you’re funny”. Miles states

You are so speechless, you hide your face because you’re cheesing. Miles notices and smiles looking at you.

“It’s ok lemme see you smile with those chubby cheeks”. Miles announces, you chuckle to yourself soon looking at the apartments in front of you. You look at Miles and give him a smile.

“I know I can’t know your identity or even how old you’re but thank you for saying you want to protect me and seeing me as a person I genuinely appreciate it”. You say looking at his mask

Miles looks down at you grinning under his mask knowing the risk that can happen if he took it off or exposed his identity.

“I know I can’t expose my identity, but I want you to know something. I will always be lurking around the corners making sure you’re ok, you're worth making the city good for have a great night. I just realized I didn’t get your name”

“It’s Y/N and have a great night as well. Prowler don’t get hurt too bad out there” You say as he nods and walks into the darkness. You sigh entering your home.

You see everyone else packing their things and you do the same leaving the classroom, you see your friends huddled by your locker.

“HEYYY Y/N” your friend Ocean yells out, you take one of your airpods out waving at her walking up to her and your other friend.

“Horrible, well not really I was staring at him and he grinned at me so you can say it's over” You huff covering your face.

“Yeah it's better than him screwing his face up”. Aaliyah adds while you were putting your things in your locker.

“Yeah lets just get to math before Ms.Nelson gets on our ass and she gets mad yelling at us” You stated with a laugh closing your locker walking to class.

“Oh yeah she might call my mom again on her bullshit” Ocean huffs

“Nah we need to find her a good wig she’ll be nice to us for a good 2 weeks”. Aaliyah announces.

Your books and their books drop on the floor and you’re incredibly embarrassed scrambling to pick your things up, trying not to crease your Jordans.

“I'm so so sorry” You say picking up their books and yours.

“No it's ok…you don’t have to pick my books up after all I bumped into you” They say catching you off guard recognizing the voice. He bends down helping you pick up the books.

“No I bumped into you it's my fault i'm sorry” Y/N apologies once again

“Stop apologizing, it's okay mamita I just need to watch where I'm going next time”. They say helping you up, the way that ‘mamita’ rolled off their tongue had you weak in the knees.

“Im Miles” He says, giving you a smile, handing you your books.
